Double header tonight!

I am sort of nervous, but I think we will do just fine!

We play the dirt devils and monsters... I don't know how they are but hopefully they all won't hit homeruns!

I love looking up crazy co ed names and an example is the title... some others are:

First game last night, we lost but we all did very well!

Can't help when monster dudes hit homeruns LOL

I played right field and only one got over my head but the lights are kind of blinding, remember the field lights are on, it's 9:15 at night.

I hit pretty decent, only got on base once, but I got all the way around and scored when the batter hit me in.

Cool rule, when a man walks, he automatically goes to second and the woman batter up gets a choice to walk or hit. Well, we so happened to have bases loaded and the man walked, he went to second, in came two runs because the female batter walked too.

Next game(s) are Thursday, I am excited to play again. I am thankful to have such wonderful teammates that are fun to play with!

I have my first softball game tonight and to be honest, I am a tad bit nervous, hell I have never played against dudes with arms bigger than both my legs put together.

We are called the Misfitz... we have some interesting people on the team, to say the least. We really have some "gold gloves" out there! haha sarcasm


Most of our games are at 9:15.... 9:15 I know! HELLO that is my bedtime, I will most certainly have to nap before I go, otherwise, I will be falling asleep and might get hit in the head with a ball. Not pretty. LOL

Oh well... go # 4!........ uh that's me! =P LOL

I am just "blah" today... maybe it's because I have to get my braces adjusted... okay well I know it's one of the reasons, I hate pain in my mouth ugh!

They always seem to hurt me everytime I go there, snag my lip, poke my gums, snap a rubber band, use those god awful mouth stretchers!

My life is upside down... I've realized through not only me, sitting here stewing on just thoughts that come & go in my head but other people.... I am the only person who can make myself truly happy.

I've also realized that I truly, will never be "single"... HE will always be there and I get depressed thinking of it. I know, I know. I need to just kick him out the door, but he's not a bad person and I'm too nice.

I wish things were different....I wish I could let go of the past.

All I want is the little (two story) house with a big front porch. I feel as if I will never get it, or ever be married.

Wow, I have totally rambled. On a good note, I should be getting a pedicure tomorrow if the chick doesn't bail out on me, but if she bails, I save money so it's not all bad LOL

July 30

Wow, only 1 more day and then it's officially August. Hard to believe, seems like yesterday it was just my birthday!

Not much happening in my life, pretty boring, pretty sad, but what else is new right?

I am now on a co-ed softball team and I am going to play outfield b/c I don't want to hurt my pretty little face in the infield haha.

They have some of the strangest rules (in my opinion)

*If a man hits and gets on base the woman who bats next (the line up has to be man, woman, man, etc) can either choose to hit or choose to walk. Well, I mean in some situations it would be beneficial to walk, but come on now, it's freaking SLOW PITCH softball, hit the damn ball!

* You have to use two different size balls, one 11 inch to pitch to the females and the 12 inch to pitch to the males. I personally prefer the 12 inch.

*If you have a male pitcher you have to have a female catcher and vice versa. I hear that a lot of women don't like to pitch b/c of the fact the ball comes back at them.

*There is a $50 charge to protest a call, 50 bucks! I am not sure what kind of call, whether it's judgemental or what but it said it takes like a week to review. HELLO don't you think you should rule at that time. However, if you win then you get your $50 back LOL

Anyways, I hope that it's fun!

Been awhile since I have posted...but my life is pretty boring lol

It has been raining for the past 2 days and it's raining today! Supposed to have a softball game tonight, but it's not looking like we are. Guess will have to see later.

Got my teefers adjusted today... was only going to get the wire cut but they decided to go ahead and put a new powerchain on (rubberband type thing) and well, it's probably good thing, the quicker that I get these gaps close, the quicker I get them off! yay!

Glee!

Tonight is Glee night and before that is American Idol! I can't believe we are down to the last two already. This season has just been "OK" I mean, it's definitely not compared to last season. Oh well.

So, tonight on Glee, it's the Lady GaGa episode haha. This should be very interesting! I secretly really want to be on Glee haha I totally can't sing or dance tho but I think I would totally be good on it!!!

Lost

Yep, that's what I am after watching the Lost finale! I actually have never watched an episode..... ah back track that, I think I watched one and didn't understand one bit of it. But, I wanted answers about what Lost was really all about. I found a message board that discussed the finale and I think it pretty much cleared up some questions I had about it....

At first, I thought it was like the movie "The Passengers" which is about these people who go on about their normal lives only come to a realization that they are actually dead.

Well, Lost is actually not like that, some people died during the plane crash, and then some survived and died while on the island and then some died years later and they all met at the end.

It's a very confusing series but the ending wasn't too bad.



Then, last night I watched "My Sister's Keeper".... tear jerker! It's actually a really good movie and I think most ladies would enjoy it! I wasn't going to watch it but then I got hooked onto it.


Still supposed to have my Mary Kay party Friday and so far, I have two that are coming, one being my mom which always does things for me. My sister hasn't given me a definite answer b/c I am sure she's waiting for a better offer because that is just how she is.


I came to a realization, that I really don't have any friends...I mean it looks like I have a lot of "friends" on FB but in reality it's mostly family and people I graduated with. Not really people that I "hung" out with, you know? Oh well, it's probably my fault, if I wasn't so shy and a "rule follower" maybe I would have had friends lol I am lucky to have the 3T girls and guy :P Wish that we all lived closer tho :) && I am super lucky to have my other great friend who always listens to my b!tching and everything else and is a sweetheart. Thanks :)

That's right, it's Wednesday which means it's only 2 more days till the weekend woop!

Tonight supposed to go to my bro in laws softball game if it doesn't rain

Tomorrow we have a hot dog lunch here at work and I am part of the employee committee (that is getting out of hand b/c of a certain SOMEONE) but we'll have plenty of prizes, good food and music for about 2 hours, but my work begins way before that! Luckily, the forecast is looking sunny! :)

Yep, it's just Tuesday.... can't wait till Friday! Actually, I am like ready for Friday Monday morning, but what can I say haha.

I don't have anything planned for this weekend, the forecast for the next week isn't looking too pretty. :(

Softball game got cancelled Monday, ugh and then the freaking sun came out, go figure!!!

Having a Mary Kay party May 28 at my house and I am going to have it like Mother- Daughter, My mom is coming (not sure if my sister is) and I invited my friend and see if her mom wants to come too. Can't seem to get anybody else to come :(. I am very thankful that I do have a wonderful mother who does things for me!

Played softball last night, it wasn't pretty AT ALL! haha

We lost 20-0 and I pitched, they just kept hitting off of me :(

I get a free facial/makeover tonight! I am totally stoked and I feel like a girly girl. I will also be getting my haircut soon, but not too short! I pretty much like the length, but I need to add some *life* to my hair, aka, layers haha.

I go for my next braces adjustment Thursday @ 7:30 in the am which means I will have to get up early, ugh! :P

First game is tonight against an Orthodontics place, go figure, right? haha I am not sure of the position I am going to play, I have a feeling either SS or 3rd. :P

Wow, seems like forever since I wrote in here...

Softball is starting out again which I am excited and nervous about lol Got a new glove! I have had the same glove for the past oh, 6 + years and it keeps slipping off my hand!

Other than that, not much else going on....I lead a pretty boring life :)

Urban Legends

So, I pretty much like all urban legends, big foot, loch ness, mothman...etc.

I was watching a show on big foot and mothman the other day. It's pretty interesting stuff. I just don't see how something could not be real if all these people have an "eyewitness account" oh well, I guess if you don't see it, you don't believe it?

Out of all the urban legends, I would love love love to discover the loch ness monster haha not sure why, but that would be my ultimate thing to discover. I know there are a lot of hoaxes out there..but you never know what lurks beneath the sea!

By all means, I am totally right handed but I seem to do certain things left handed, maybe everybody is like this. I bat, putt putt, open the car door with the key, open jars.

I can't sleep with any body part hanging off the bed, it's like the monster under the bed is going to get me while I am sleeping ;) haha

I am very routine with certain things, but not like OCD lol

I am terribly afraid of spiders and working out in the garden I saw TWO, yes count them TWO! haha I about ended my working in the garden, but I kept on going haha

Plans for the weekend.... Dad is supposed to help me plant some pretty flowers in my front area! I have no green thumb whatsoever. I could probably even kill fake flowers haha.

Sunday, I need to go grocery shopping, get stocked up before I am officially by myself.

So much stress.....ugh have a Doc appointment today! Hopefully I will be able to start eating normal. You don't know how I have been craving a juicy cheeseburger :D

Weekend over already?

Yes, it's Monday. So sleepy!

Weekend was pretty eventful. Saturday, worked out in the front yard and put new mulch down, dug up a bush. This weekend I am going to get my dad to help me find some new plants and flowers to put out in the front and I really want a birdbath! We will see tho.    Later on that night, went to my mother's and we colored Easter eggs :P I enjoy it and it's always interesting to see what dad tries to write on the eggs!

Sunday, went to my mother's about 12:30 and helped in the kitchen some basically I supervised tho ;) haha. We ate at 2:00 OMG I ate so much...but then again I have been living off of toast, soup, rice and pasta haha.   Then, I helped to cut all the ham off the bone and dad decided to supervise to make sure I wasn't sneaking any ham haha!

Addie is a hoot. She had both of her birds in the bedroom last night. Only one of them actually chirps and the other one just flops around but you can hear her playing with it. She would like throw it up in the air and then smack it down the stairs and then run after it and bring it back up and throw it up in the air in the room and then lay down and rabbit kick it....lol she's just a doll :)

Monday, Monday

Went to the Doctor this morning and she thinks that my stomach is just not fully recovered from the stomach bug that I had so I will have to eat pretty bland for two weeks and go back! She said that this round has been pretty bad and it's taking people longer to get over it, me being one of them, ugh!

Anyways... Easter is almost upon us! I love love ham and I don't think that would fit into any of those categories? Anyways, I will eat very small portions. In the meantime, it's bananas, bread, rice, soup and yogurt for me! :P

Addie is such a weird kitty, but I love her to death. Ever since I took her to the vet Friday she has slept in the cat carrier which is good b/c she doesn't really bother me at night.

Hump Day

Ah, so it's Wednesday....the infamous Hump Day

I felt like total $h*t this morning, but after lunch I felt somewhat better, but I have been quarantined on my side of the office! ha ha

American Idol cuts are tonight. I think that Paige needs to go. I feel like she is just getting progressively worse, not better. I thought that the only people whoe are good are Crystal and the *3rd grader* haha I don't even watch Big Mike anymore b/c it's like all he sings is ballads/love songs and it's BORING.

I find Ellen very funny and Kara just gets on my nerves :P

Oh, side note, don't buy the Brita filtered faucet majig, it's worthless, I am bringing it back and getting just a filtered pitcher.

Spring Time

It's Spring Time...doesn't feel like it though, it t-totally snowed yesterday, how crazy.

Haven't been doing much lately, was sick for about a week and if you look to your left you (man, I totally didn't like raise my hand to figure if it's right or left haha) so look to the RIGHT you will see I only have 5 more lbs to go thanks to the stomach virus! No fun.

My birthday went well. Ate out at Ruby Tuesday's with my family. The ribs were WONDERFUL! I ate like way too much tho, wasn't feeling good that night/morning.
One day I hope to have a surprise party, I will probably have to throw it myself and like just go behind the couch and jump out at myself haha I think the last actual party I had was in 9th grade and I had a sleepover and we prank called the porn store...ah we were such cool kids in 9th grade ha ha!

Forgive me for I have lent sinned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally ate chick fil a last Friday...I took like a half a bite of a chicken nugget and I was like WTF! it's lent..and then I continued to eat the rest of the chicken nuggets and the yummy waffle fries :)

Random Fact of the Day

Here is a random fact about myself that you may or may not know! haha

When I get the McDonald's chicken nuggets, I don't eat them like regular people I totally will eat the skin first and then the nugget. I have done that ever since I was little. I remembered when they came out with the new version and I at first didn't care much for them but got around to liking them as I guess they were "healthier"

Finally! There is some sunshine outside and warm temperatures are almost here! I got so tired of the snow.



Didn't do much this weekend, cleaned the house and made my mom's lasagna roll ups and they were pretty good if I do say so myself ;)


Today starts my "dieting" again for like the millionith time. I am going to start eating smaller portions (that's my weakness, I LOVE food!). I am going to start going back to the gym a few times a week. It just got like really boring and I guess the snow and cold didn't help much either.

So, I totally have the weirdest dreams in the world, I could write a book with all the dreams I have had.

So last night, I had a dream, and I can remember it in much detail. It was like my boyfriend or whatever was like this muscle dude...and its rather weird b/c I just think some of them look nasty, anyways moving on. I got called to his house for some reason and when I get there him and his friend are hanging out and his mom comes out like trying to stab people and I think he got stabbed. Well, it turns out, not sure if you have seen like previews for The Crazies or seen the movie Body Snatchers, it was totally like this and I have had a dreams like this before where you have to "act" like them or get outed! Ok, so these people would like disintegrate when you would shine a flashlight on them, and anything bright, like yellow. I remember carrying a knife in my pocket and was in the hardware shop trying to get supplies. Then, somehow I made it into a factory which I have no idea where it was and I had to sit down and do something so I could prove I was one of them..well the lady next to me was just like me and she was trying to help me but we got outed! So, there I am running again. The last thing I remember was throwing my knife at one of them and uh, I missed haha. So, I woke up and that's it!

Beauty Tip for the Day

I am always on the quest for a new beauty tip or tool and I found use for baby powder, other than putting on a baby's bottom haha.



You can shave with it, you can put it in your hair if your hair gets greasy and it will absorb the oils right up! Make sure if you have dark hair, not to put too much otherwise you will look like you have really bad dandruff (not a good look girls!) Applying it before waxing helps the wax stick to the hair better.

I am making salmon tonight. I usually will put lemon juice on it, salt and pepper and a little garlic powder and broil it for like 6 minutes and it's wonderful!

It snowed last night, roads were a tad bit slippery this morning and surprisingly enough, schools weren't even on a 2 hour delay!

I watched the top 24 American Idol girls last night and I would have to say, I am not really impressed although there were a few goods ones which the judges didn't like? Top 24 guys tonight! Hopefully they will do good. :D

Well, it's FRIDAY! yay! Only downfall... can't eat meat :( Oh well! Will probably get real acquainted with Long John Silvers. Speaking of LJS...there is a totally fun game on their website I have been playing and you get coupons and everything too!

So, I was totally kidding about giving up sweets for Lent b/c I ate a filled donut this morning ::embarrassed:: hah!

This weekend is supposed to be pretty and my car is in dire need of a wash with all the salt that has been on the roads.

Wow, it's absolutely freezing outside! Weather Watcher says it's 22 outside, but it feels like 14 and I believe it!

We had a little bit of snow stick to the roads this morning and crazy thing, schools weren't even on a delay this morning, however yesterday, they were out and there wasn't a drop of snow in sight. Ha Ha.

Chicken for dinner tonight! Tomorrow starts lent so no meat for me tomorrow!

Had an OK weekend. Valentine's Day was basically just like any other day lol Took mom & dad out for breakfast and ordered in Chinese food for dinner.

Today is the start of my diet that I am going to stick to and lose this weight!

Also, lent is coming up. I am thinking about TRYING to cut out all sweets/sugars. I know it's going to be hard because I love reesee cups! haha. Plus, I don't drink sodas so that shouldn't be too hard.

10lbs is my goal to lose. I think I might try and lose it by my birthday? hm, if I could lose at least 2 lbs a week that would put me close to my goal weight on my birthday. YAY!

Snow is in the forecast for today lol ....schools already out!

So my mom has come to the 21st century and has a facebook and actually a lot of my family does. We FB chat sometimes and I like to bug her about the snow (she hates it even though she was raised up north!) Well, last night I had used a smiley for the first time in the chat window.
She was like "how do I do that"
So I showed her how to do it and well, it took her a few times but she finally got it! So I told her "you can teach an old dog new tricks"


No snow in the forecast today but I did slide coming down the driveway this morning!

Snow

Wow, so I woke up this morning to a blanket of white, EVERYWHERE. I actually didn't think it was supposed to snow this much, but it did. Now, not only was there snow on the ground...but underneath it was ice. Thanksfully, I got to work OK even though none of the streets I had to travel were plowed. :)

Pretty sure it's supposed to snow all day and be really windy. Temperature says its 16 out but feels like 9... burrr... that is cold.

Beauty Tip for the Day

So I thought I would share a beauty tip... You know all those facial scrubs out there that you buy to help exfoliate your face? Well quit spending your money on them and try sugar! Yes, I said SUGAR!...The best kind for your face is brown sugar. I bet you are thinking, " put sugar on my face?" Yep! It is a really good exfoliator and it makes my face silky smooth. Just put some in your facial cleanser or whatever you use to clean your face with. I find that the regular white sugar works well as a body exfoliator. Rub some together with your favorite body wash and scrub away! It will make your skin silky smooth!
I also try to find alternatives to expensive products and you may or may not know about this but I will hope you will try it before you will waste your money on expensive scrubs with different types of chemicals in them!! The other scrub that I would recommend is the St. Ives Body Polish. I think it works really well too and their products are mostly natural.

I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am.
